CT-4456 Lead Data Analyst

Do you have experience of providing hands-on analytics expertise, on complex business-led data and analytics initiatives?

This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading wealth management organisation, by providing interim analytics capability across multiple business initiatives. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, support strategic decision making, and provide leadership and guidance to a team of analysts.

The project needs a consultant who has:

  • extensive SQL, Power BI and Databricks expertise
  • strong business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills
  • experience translating complex data into actionable business insights
  • capability to mentor and support junior analysts whilst maintaining high analytical standards

 

Key services:

  • deliver hands-on analytics to support business priorities and decision making
  • collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data can improve performance and outcomes
  • develop clear, insight-led reporting and data storytelling to support business decisions
  • work alongside data engineering teams to support data quality, accessibility and governance
  • provide technical guidance, peer review and mentoring to junior analysts
  • monitor the effectiveness of analytics outputs and recommend improvements
  • contribute to the adoption of analytics best practice, documentation and knowledge sharing

 

Mandatory Requirements:

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:

  • proven experience as a Lead Data Business Analyst, Lead Data Analyst or Analytics Manager
  • advanced SQL skills
  • practical experience using Power BI and Databricks
  • experience partnering with senior business stakeholders to deliver data-led insights
  • ability to communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and commercially meaningful way
  • experience leading, mentoring or coaching analytical teams
  • experience working within data governance and quality frameworks

 

Optional Requirements:

It will also be advantageous if you have:

  • previous wealth management or wider financial services experience
  • experience working within regulated environments
  • experience supporting multiple concurrent business initiatives

 

Working Pattern: Remote or hybrid, Southampton-based

Contract Type: Inside IR35

Start: ASAP
