Do you have experience of providing modelling and simulation data management expertise, on a modelling and simulation project within a pharmaceutical environment?
This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation, in establishing consistent and reusable approaches to the management of modelling data, parameters and simulation outputs. The role will bridge modelling teams and data standards teams to ensure model requirements are accurately defined, implemented and validated.
The project needs a consultant who has:
- modelling and simulation knowledge with the ability to understand new models quickly
- experience of capturing and interpreting model data requirements
- understanding of model parameterisation and simulation data management
- strong communication skills to work effectively across modelling and data teams
Key services:
The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
- act as the interface between modelling teams and data availability and data standards teams
- understand and document the data requirements of new modelling and simulation models
- define, capture and validate model data requirements
- support the implementation of consistent approaches to model parameter storage
- support the management and storage of simulation outputs to maximise reuse and consistency
Mandatory Requirements:
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:
- knowledge of modelling and simulation principles
- experience of working with model data, parameters and simulation outputs
- ability to translate technical model requirements into clear data requirements
- collaborative working across technical stakeholders
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- experience within the pharmaceutical sector
Optional Requirements:
It will also be advantageous if you have:
- a recent Master's or PhD in modelling, simulation or a related discipline
- familiarity with data standards and data governance for modelling environments
- an understanding of process modelling programming tools including Python, gPROMS and Aspen
