Do you have experience of providing PMO expertise, on a Transformation project?
This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading Professional Body, in supporting a small transformation team working across a wide range of global projects.
The project needs a consultant who can:
- provide direct support to the Portfolio Manager on day-to-day PMO operations
- consistent and accurate tracking, reporting, and documentation across the project portfolio
- coordination and communication support across global stakeholders and project team.
Key services:
The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
- Maintain and update portfolio-level reporting dashboards and trackers
- Support preparation of governance materials including steering committee packs and status reports
- Track project milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies across the portfolio
- Maintain action logs, RAID logs, and support change control processes
- Facilitate communication flow between workstreams and senior stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements:
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:
- 1–3 years of experience in a PMO, project coordination, or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured way
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with confidence interacting with stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive, collaborative, and highly organized with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
Optional Requirements:
It will also be advantageous if you have:
- Worked in a Professional Body
Working Pattern: 3 days a week onsite in Westminster / Birmingham
Contract Type: Outside IR35
