JC-4268; Junior PMO Analyst

Do you have experience supporting project and programme delivery through governance, reporting and risk management? Are you confident working with data, reports and PMO tools to help ensure projects stay on track?

 

This consulting opportunity is to join a major transformation programme as a Junior PMO, supporting the PMO function in risk management, reporting and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in monitoring Strategic, Business, Programme and Project risks across the portfolio, providing analysis, and facilitating timely preparation of programme information for senior stakeholders and governance boards.

 

The project needs a consultant who:

  • Has PMO experience in large matrixed organisation or a major transformation programme
  • Has experience of identifying and documenting project or programme risks
  • Has a high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills

 

Key services:

The key services that you will be asked to provide are to:

  • Support the Project Management Office (PMO) in monitoring and tracking Strategic, Business, Programme and Project Risks across the portfolio, analysing data and preparing timely information for governance.
  • Provide analysis support on the Programme, as well as other PMO needs which may emerge as the Programme evolves.
  • Support risk management capabilities for the Programme, co-ordinating all risk assurance activities and reporting across all levels.
  • Embed and improve the Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Opportunities (RAIDO) Management Framework.
  • Facilitate forums for identifying risks (threats and opportunities), monitoring and challenging mitigation and realisation actions.
  • Produce RAIDO reports to support effective communication.

 

Mandatory Requirements:

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 2-5 years of PMO experience
  • Experience in identifying project and programme risks on a large programme of work/transformation

 

Optional Requirements:

  • Experience in the rail or other highly regulated industries

 

Working Pattern: London Office (3-5 days per week)
Contract Type: Outside IR35
