Do you have experience of providing Procurement expertise, within the Facilities Management category?
This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading pharmaceuticals company, in delivering the category strategy and sourcing the commercial partnerships within the Facilities Management piece.
The project needs a consultant who:
- Is highly experienced in managing the procurement of high-volume Facilities Management services (Security, Occupational Health, Real Estate, etc.)
- Understands the value of a Sustainability agenda and can manage this requirement
- Has worked within complex Pan-European organisations.
Key services:
The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
- Develop strategic category plans for facilities management and real estate
- Advise on and drive procurement strategies across the world
- Coordinate the implementation of the category plan to ensure that procurement activities deliver the expected business value
- Develop, evaluate and lead strategic relationships (partner and supplier) to ensure that category strategies are aligned to current and future business needs
- Advise on contracts, agreements, and sourcing strategies for the supply of complex products and services with new and existing suppliers throughout the procurement network
- Propose and implement improvements & innovations within the designated spend area
- Direct new initiatives and improvement programmes aimed at ensuring sustainability goals are met
- Support performance across a global multi-functional team to enable procurement projects to deliver on time, cost and quality standards
- Advise on Sustainable Procurement strategy for this SME area
Mandatory Requirements:
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- In depth knowledge and experience of sourcing facilities management categories
- Expertise in Procurement Category management and sustainability programs
- Proven leadership experience in a matrix environment, both within organisation and with external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and influencing skills
- Comfortable with managing risk and ambiguous situations
- Fluent in English language, both spoken and written
Optional Requirements:
It will also be advantageous if you are:
- CIPS or NISCL certified
- Experienced in managing projects to deliver engagement and change
Working Pattern: Macclesfield preferred but will consider remote / occasional onsite attendance (NW England)
