Do you have experience of providing marketing expertise to deliver engaging and successful marketing campaigns?
This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading management consulting company, in developing and designing internal marketing campaigns for their Energy and Resources business, with the objective of delivering programmes that build awareness and generate interest, driving engagement with their clients.
The project needs a consultant who:
- is an experienced marketer who can hit the ground running, acting as a caretaker of the key marketing pillars as well as a change agent to add value and drive innovation
- has a proven track record in shaping marketing strategy and the appropriate selection of tactics to drive a business forward and increase customer engagement and sales
- has at least 5 years of strategic marketing experience in a B2B environment.
Key services:
The key services that you will be asked to provide are to:
- work closely with relevant groups and stakeholders across the company to support the creation, development, launch, and management of a sequence of global Energy & Resources campaigns to build awareness and recommendations
- project manage the development and production of marketing assets, in conjunction with marketing agencies and third parties
- proofread and copy edit of marketing assets across digital, email, web, events and social and paid media channels
- develop, create, monitor and measure campaign activity to support marketing deliverables across all channels
- evaluate and optimise marketing creative outputs (e.g. thought leadership, case studies, podcasts, webinars, videos, etc.)
- assess, prioritise and plan campaign and other ad-hoc marketing requests
- support the build of the marketing function, collaborating with Marketing colleagues across the wider business to create a world-class team and showcase the value of marketing to the business.
Mandatory Requirements:
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent
- Have a CIM Diploma or equivalent
- Proven track record in shaping marketing strategy and the appropriate selection of tactics to drive a business forward and increase customer engagement and sales
- At least 5 years of strategic marketing experience in a B2B environment
- Expert relationship building and network creation – internally and with external parties
- Ability to work across all levels with impact, effectiveness and influence
- Proactive in pre-empting, identifying, resolving and escalating issues
- Self-sufficient, self-starter
- Expert interpersonal and strong stakeholder management skills. Good at coaching and influencing
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

- Goal-focused and resilient
- Good team player who works collaboratively to achieve goals and objectives.
Optional Requirements:
- Experience in Professional Services (ideally management consulting) or Energy & Resources businesses.
Working Pattern: Hybrid (approx. 1 days per week in Central London)
