KZ-4270; Change Manager - Cross Portfolio

Do you have experience of providing Change Management expertise across a portfolio of diverse projects?

This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading Professional Body, in leading the business change and adoption across a portfolio of transformation projects of varying scale. The role will drive stakeholder engagement, business readiness, and user adoption across multiple teams within a complex organisation. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role working within a small programme team.

The project needs a consultant who can:

  • Deliver change management for business and technical projects
  • Provide strong capability in stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, and communication planning across a diverse user group
  • Bring experience of working in complex, multi-project environments

Key services:

The key services that you will be asked to provide are:

  • Lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive change management strategy for the transformation programmes and associated projects.
  • Conduct change impact assessments and develop targeted change plans aligned to each business area and stakeholder group.
  • Design and deliver communications, training, and engagement plans to support smooth transition and user adoption.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, business leads, and HR to embed change at all levels of the organisation.
  • Monitor and manage resistance, readiness, and adoption metrics, adjusting plans to ensure successful outcomes.

Mandatory Requirements:

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience delivering change management across a broad range and scale of programmes.
  • Ability to lead end-to-end business change activities, including impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, communications, and training.
  • Experience working in matrixed environments with multiple project streams, ensuring consistent change messaging and business readiness across the portfolio.
  • Proven success in driving user adoption and behavioural change, using structured methodologies such as ADKAR, Prosci, or equivalent.
  • Experience of operating within a small, nimble organisation that requires the ability to deliver from a hands on perspective.

Optional Requirements:

It will also be advantageous if you are Prosci certified.

Working Pattern: Onsite – London (Westminster) / Birmingham 3 days a week
