KZ-4255; Change Manager - Communications

Do you have experience of providing Change Management & Communications expertise within large global transformation programmes of work?

This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading pharmaceuticals company, in ensuring change initiatives focused on revolutionising data access across research and development are adopted by key stakeholders throughout the organisation and beyond.

The project needs a consultant who can:

  • lead change and communication efforts for a major transformation program focused on data access within a data office.
  • drive stakeholder engagement, manage resistance, and enable adoption of new data access tools and platforms across scientific, technical, and leadership communities.
  • deliver immediate impact through a proven, strategic, and hands-on approach to change management in complex scientific environments.

 

Key services:

The key services that you will be asked to provide are as follows:

  • Change Management: Develop and implement change strategies, assess readiness, and lead governance to support the transformation of data access systems in alignment with regulatory and business goals.
  • Strategic Communications: Create and deliver targeted communication plans that clearly convey the benefits of enhanced data access while addressing compliance, security, and operational concerns.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders through workshops and direct interactions to build alignment, gather feedback, and ensure adoption.
  • Training & Support: Partner with technical teams to design training, produce user guides, and support end-users through the transition to new tools and processes.

 

Mandatory Requirements:

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:

  • 7–10 years of proven experience in change management within large-scale data or digital transformation programs.
  • Strong knowledge of communications processes.
  • Expertise in change methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to operate independently and deliver fast results.
  • Experience working with global teams and have an awareness of data privacy and regulatory considerations.

 

Optional Requirements:

It will also be advantageous if you have:

  • Experience within the pharmaceuticals industry
  • Experience with data platforms and analytics tools.
  • Understanding of scientific computing environments and clinical data management.
  • Prior involvement in AI or digital innovation initiatives.

 

Working Pattern: Remote UK – Occasional onsite attendance in SE England
Contract Type: Outside IR35
Start: ASAP
Duration: 4 months initially, with potential to extend into 2026
