CT-4202; Regulatory Reporting Consultant - UK Capital Requirements Regulation

B2E Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Consultant to support a key client in enhancing their regulatory reporting capacity. This role focuses on UK CRR prudential metrics, including LCR, PRA110, NSFR, ALMM, Pillar 1, Leverage, and Asset Encumbrance calculations. The successful candidate will bring expertise in the production, analysis, and control of regulatory metrics, alongside strong data management and process improvement capabilities.

The project needs a consultant who has:

  • Extensive knowledge of UK CRR prudential metrics, including LCR, PRA110, NSFR, ALMM, Pillar 1, Leverage, and Asset Encumbrance calculations.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing strong control frameworks around the production and reporting of new regulatory metrics.
  • Expertise in working with large datasets to ensure the accuracy of metrics and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues. 
  • Is a self-starter and can work autonomously.

 

Key services:
The key services that you'll be asked to provide are: 

  • Take ownership of the production, review, analysis, and certification of assigned UK CRR prudential metrics.
  • Collaborate with teams globally to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide cross-coverage for other team members in the production of key metrics.
  • Enhance regulatory reporting processes by:
    • Ensuring correct regulatory treatments and documentation aligned with the client’s product sets.
    • Identifying and documenting data quality issues, escalating them through governance channels for resolution.
    • Designing and implementing new data validation processes, particularly for intercompany data.
    • Strengthening reconciliations to accounting data and validating underlying data with the business.
    • Enhancing certification packs to meet regulatory standards.
    • Ensuring a robust control framework with comprehensive documentation.
  • Recommend and support transformation initiatives, including automation and process improvements, in collaboration with the Regulatory Reporting Manager.
  • Centralise and document all regulatory reporting processes, ensuring they align with the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) requirements.
  • Identify and propose policy updates in response to PRA designation and ensure proper implementation.

 

Mandatory Requirements:
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Extensive knowledge of UK CRR prudential metrics, including LCR, PRA110, NSFR, ALMM, Pillar 1, Leverage, and Asset Encumbrance calculations.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing strong control frameworks around the production and reporting of regulatory metrics.
  • Expertise in working with large datasets to ensure the accuracy of metrics and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams in international locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to document processes and implement process improvements in regulatory reporting. 

 

Optional Requirements:
It will also be advantageous if you have:

  • Prior experience in working with intercompany data validations and reconciliation processes.
  • Knowledge of the Prudential Regulation Authority’s (PRA) requirements and related policy updates.
  • Experience in designing and implementing automation in regulatory reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with product sets used in financial institutions and their reflection in prudential metrics.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
