Do you have experience of providing analysis, on supplier assurance and workforce capability programmes within regulated industries?
This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading organisation within the rail industry, in analysing supplier competencies to develop a standardised competency framework for external suppliers. The role will support the definition of supplier competency standards, an assurance model, and an implementation approach to strengthen competency governance across safety-critical services.
The project needs a consultant who has:
- experience analysing competency frameworks and workforce capability models within regulated environments
- understanding of supplier assurance and competency governance for safety-critical services
- an ability to develop structured standards, assurance models and implementation approaches
- a strong analytical capability with experience engaging business, operational and supplier stakeholders
Key Services
The key services that you will be asked to provide are to:
- analyse existing supplier competencies across prioritised supplier organisations
- define supplier competency standards aligned to agreed safety-critical services
- develop an assurance model aligned to client requirements
- produce a high-level implementation plan to embed competency requirements within supplier contracts
- develop recommendations to support adoption of the competency framework across the wider supplier base
- engage stakeholders to validate competency standards, assurance approaches and implementation plans
Mandatory Requirements
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:
- experience developing or analysing competency frameworks within regulated or safety-critical environments
- understanding of supplier assurance and competency management principles
- experience producing structured standards, frameworks or governance documentation
- strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills
Optional Requirements
It will also be advantageous if you have:
- experience within the rail industry
- knowledge of CDG and GRAS assurance frameworks
Working Pattern: Hybrid - 1 day a week London
