KZ-4346; Product Delivery Lead, Data Analytics

Do you have experience of providing Product Delivery expertise, on a Data Analytics project? 

This consulting opportunity is to support our client (a leading consumer goods company) in enabling the organisation to turn data into business value ensuring that analytics products are delivered on time, on budget and to high quality standards

The project needs a consultant who has experience:

  • managing the delivery of data & analytics technology solutions, using agile software development practices.
  • working across business workstreams in areas such as revenue growth, sales, promotion and financial data sets.
  • leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
     

Key services:
The key services that you'll be asked to provide are: 

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of the “data product” by ensuring that all members of the delivery team are clear on their outputs and that work is progressing as planned
  • Establish and monitor ways of working, continuously streamline and improve the delivery process
  • On-board adequate resources for the delivery of data product
  • Identify and manage risks, blockers and dependencies, facilitate conflict resolution and determine appropriate risk management actions
  • Raise change requests where changes impact cost, scope or timelines
  • Produce status reports on a regular basis for audiences at different levels of the organisation
  • Partner with the Scrum Master and the Development Team to give the Product Owner a picture of sizing and cost of various product features, as well as an indication of when they can be delivered
  • Oversee the development, improvement and stability of the data product.

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Managing the delivery of data & analytics technology solutions, using agile software development practices.
  • Working across business workstreams
  • Leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Nurturing and managing high-performing teams across business and strategic delivery partners.
  • Sound understanding of the digital product development lifecycle.
  • Managing quality and risk on large-scale and complex technology delivery projects.
  • Self-starter, with strong problem-solving skills, able to manage constraints and mitigate conflicts when they arise.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, able to motivate the team and establish positive relationships with team and stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven track record of delivering Revenue Growth Management Analytical products alongside a Product owner, technical teams and external suppliers.
     

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES

  • Familiarity with tools like SQL, Python, R, and data visualization software (e.g. Power BI).
  • Understanding of predictive modelling techniques and machine learning algorithms to forecast promotion outcomes.
  • Proficiency in using project management software (e.g., ADO, Jira) to track progress, manage tasks, and collaborate with team members.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
     

Optional Requirements:
It will also be advantageous if you have:

  • Experience working in Consumer Goods and/or Beverage industry
