Do you have experience of providing Product Ownership expertise on an Infrastructure project?
This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading financial services company, in the delivery and evolution of their global data and voice network infrastructure, enabling a hybrid cloud and product-oriented operating model that supports both current and emerging business requirements.
The project needs a consultant who can do the following:
- Act as the Product Owner for Networks, defining and prioritising requirements to deliver secure, high-performing WAN/LAN/WLAN and UC&C solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to design, implement, and optimise network services that enable a global hybrid cloud model.
- Drive continuous improvement by analysing performance data, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and cost-efficiency objectives.
Key services:
The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
- Network Product Ownership – Define, manage, and deliver the roadmap for enterprise network and UC&C services, ensuring alignment with strategic business and technology goals.
- Solution Design & Implementation – Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of WAN, LAN, WLAN, and cloud networking solutions (Azure/AWS), integrating security and performance best practices.
- Operational Excellence & Service Improvement – Oversee ongoing network performance, incident management, and continuous optimisation of services through automation, monitoring, and feedback loops.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management – Engage effectively with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery, cost control, and innovation in network solutions.
Mandatory Requirements:
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven expertise in delivering complex network and cloud connectivity solutions across enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate technical requirements into business value.
- A results-driven mindset, focused on improving performance, security, and user experience through innovative network design and optimisation.
- Agile delivery experience, with a track record of managing product backlogs, prioritising effectively, and driving iterative improvements
Optional Requirements:
It will also be advantageous if you have:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner, CCNP, or cloud qualifications (AWS/Azure).
- Consulting or professional services experience, demonstrating the ability to deliver solutions across multiple clients and complex stakeholder environments.
