Do you have experience of providing Product Ownership expertise, ideally within a Private Cloud (Azure Local) product environment? This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading Insurance company.
The client needs a consultant who can do the following:
- Define and drive the product strategy for private cloud solutions — particularly Azure Local — ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
- Collaborate effectively across technical and business teams to deliver and optimise high-quality, secure, and cost-efficient private cloud services.
- Leverage deep cloud platform expertise (Azure Local, with knowledge of VMware and Oracle Cloud) to enhance the organisation’s hybrid cloud portfolio and guide future innovation.
Key services:
The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
- Private Cloud Product Strategy & Delivery – Define roadmap, prioritise initiatives, and oversee VMware, Hyper-V, and other virtualisation deployments.
- Data Centre & Infrastructure Management – Guide planning, migration, and optimisation to ensure scalability, availability, and cost efficiency.
- Virtualisation Oversight – Lead VMware and Hyper-V environments to maximise performance and align with business goals.
- Infrastructure Optimisation & Automation – Drive enhancements, automation, and monitoring to improve operational efficiency.
- Hybrid Cloud Integration – Oversee integration with Azure, VMware Cloud, and Oracle Cloud, ensuring security, compliance, and strategic alignment.
Mandatory Requirements:
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in defining and managing infrastructure and data centre products, including shaping strategy, guiding deployment and optimising enterprise IT environments for business outcomes.
- Hands-on expertise in virtualisation platforms, specifically VMware and Hyper-V, with practical experience in building and managing virtualised environments.
- Strong understanding of private cloud solutions, particularly Azure, and how they integrate with on-premises infrastructure and hybrid cloud setups.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure services while managing priorities in an agile framework.
Optional Requirements:
It will also be advantageous if you have Azure Local expertise, including designing, optimising, and managing cloud solutions tailored to enterprise needs.
