KR-4458; Service Design Consultant, Public Sector

Do you have service design experience with a focus on defining future services, business vision and service blueprints in the public sector?

This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading government organisation, in strengthening business engagement across a transformation programme through the creation of a clear vision and service blueprint. The role will help define future service outcomes, align business and delivery teams, and support the transition from strategy into programme execution.

The project needs a consultant who has:

  • extensive service design experience within complex transformation programmes
  • experience developing end-to-end service blueprints and future-state service journeys
  • strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills across business and delivery communities
  • excellent visual storytelling and presentation skills

 

Key Services

The key services that you will be asked to provide are:

  • developing future-state service blueprints that support programme delivery
  • facilitating workshops to build consensus across business and programme stakeholders
  • supporting the definition of future service vision and target operating model artefacts
  • creating high-quality presentation materials and visual artefacts to communicate complex concepts
  • enabling alignment between strategic objectives and programme delivery

 

Mandatory Requirements

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:

  • extensive service design experience within large transformation programmes
  • experience developing end-to-end service blueprints and future-state service journeys
  • excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills
  • strong PowerPoint, visual storytelling and presentation
  • ability to obtain or hold BPSS clearance

 

Optional Requirements

It will also be advantageous if you have:

  • previous public sector consulting experience
  • experience supporting target operating model design
  • experience working within government organisations

 

Working Pattern: Hybrid working, including approximately one day per week in the London office, with occasional travel to client locations across the UK
