KHJ-4317: Digital Business & Systems Analyst

Do you have experience providing analysis, support, and continuous improvement for digital systems in a fast-paced environment? This role focuses on maintaining the stability and performance of live platforms while working closely with business and technical teams to deliver clear, well-structured requirements. You’ll support change from initial shaping through to delivery, create accurate user stories and acceptance criteria, and help resolve complex issues as a 3rd-line expert.

If you’re confident working in Agile teams and have hands-on experience with JIRA, BDD, SQL, and process modelling, this assignment offers a solid opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a leading asset management setting.

The project needs a consultant who:

  • Has a strong background supporting and enhancing digital systems within financial services.
  • Able to translate business needs into clear, testable requirements and user stories.
  • Confident working across business and technical teams, with a clear communication style.
  • Experienced working in Agile settings, using tools such as JIRA and BDD practices.

It will be highly advantageous if you are able to be on-site (Southampton) once a week for workshops.

Key services:

The key services that you will be asked to provide are:

  • Gather, refine, and document requirements in partnership with Product Owners and stakeholders.
  • Translate high-level needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining full traceability.
  • Support end-to-end change delivery with Scrum teams across analysis, design, build, and testing.
  • Provide 3rd-line support for live systems, investigating issues and advising on improvements.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for system behaviour, integrations, and digital processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities, helping the client strengthen stability and delivery discipline.

Mandatory Requirements:

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience delivering digital customer-facing solutions and system integration projects.
  • Hands-on experience with BDD and writing Gherkin acceptance criteria.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Data analysis capability using SQL.
  • Experience with UML or BPMN for system and process modelling.
  • Practical experience using JIRA for backlog and workflow management.
  • Able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, from technical teams to senior business leads.
