KHJ-4292; Business Analyst (Business Readiness)

Do you have experience of providing Business Analysis expertise, on a Financial Services transformation project?

This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading wealth management company, in delivering key services as part of their advice transformation programme.

The project needs a consultant who has:

  • demonstrated experience with business process mapping, gap analysis and readiness planning within a regulated environment, preferably financial services
  • proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business impacts
  • strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business, technical teams and external stakeholders.

You will be required to attend workshops in Southampton at least once a week.

 

Key services:

The key services that you will be asked to provide are:

  • Lead business process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments to identify areas requiring change or support.
  • Engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders across business and technical teams to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and ensure alignment on business readiness priorities.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes and actionable readiness activities.
  • Develop and maintain readiness plans, ensuring all business functions are prepared for upcoming technology implementations.
  • Conduct and track change impact assessments, ensuring mitigation strategies and readiness activities are effectively managed.
  • Coordinate readiness deliverables such as training materials, communication plans, and cutover schedules.
  • Provide regular progress reporting and status updates to senior stakeholders, highlighting risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Support the continuous improvement of business readiness frameworks, ensuring best practice approaches are embedded across the programme.

 

Mandatory Requirements:

Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Background in Financial Services, or other equivalent regulated sectors.
  • Strong business analysis capabilities and experience.
  • Experience supporting business readiness for large-scale technical implementations.
  • Track record of working across the organisation, including with teams who represent external stakeholder communities.
  • Experience in managing readiness activities such as training, communications, and cutover planning.

 

Working Pattern: Remote with travel to Southampton at least once a week for workshops
