Do you have experience of providing vendor management and commercial governance expertise, on a complex, multi-vendor CRM implementation programme?
This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation, in managing a multi-supplier ecosystem within a CRM transformation programme. The role focuses on aligning suppliers to contractual commitments, controlling costs, and ensuring commercial rigour across delivery.
The project needs a consultant who has:
- strong experience in vendor management across multi-supplier technology programmes
- deep commercial acumen covering contracts, pricing and cost control disciplines
- proven ability to operate within structured governance and PMO environments
- effective stakeholder engagement across procurement, technology and finance functions
Key Services
The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
- establish and run supplier governance forums including performance tracking against SLAs KPIs and OKRs
- verify contractual obligations including deliverables milestones and acceptance criteria
- review and challenge supplier change requests for commercial and contractual alignment
- support commercial negotiations including pricing service credits and contract extensions
- produce supplier performance and commercial reporting including spend risk and value tracking
- coordinate supplier escalations remediation activities and dispute resolution
Mandatory Requirements
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:
- experience in vendor management or IT procurement within complex multi-vendor programmes
- strong contract interpretation and commercial management capability
- experience managing supplier performance against SLAs KPIs and governance frameworks
- ability to collaborate with cross functional teams including PMO finance legal and technology
- experience in cost control invoice validation and identifying cost avoidance opportunities.
Optional Requirements
It will also be advantageous if you have:
- experience within CRM or SaaS based technology environments
- relevant certifications such as CIPS,ITIL or equivalent
