Do you have experience of providing business analysis, on a data integration and data platform enhancement project?
This consulting opportunity is to support our Financial Services client, in enhancing the scope of data feeds into its Data Platform to support centralised reporting and data analytics. The project focuses on delivering an enhanced third-party data warehouse feed while ensuring data quality, security compliance and successful business adoption.
The project needs a consultant who has:
- business analysis experience across data integration and reporting initiatives
- experience in data extraction, reconciliation and data quality assurance
- knowledge of solution architecture and information security considerations
- stakeholder engagement with technical teams, third-party suppliers and business SMEs
Key services:
The key services that you will be asked to provide are:
- defining requirements for data extraction and reconciliation
- supporting alignment with Solution Architecture and Information Security standards
- supporting issue resolution and query management during testing
- validating delivered data feeds with business SMEs
- supporting comparison testing and dual running using existing data provision methods
- maintaining data dictionaries and supporting delivery documentation
Mandatory Requirements:
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate:
- business analysis experience on data-focused projects
- requirements definition for data extraction and reconciliation
- experience working with third-party technology providers
- stakeholder management across technical and business teams
- experience supporting testing and data validation activities
Optional Requirements:
It will also be advantageous if you have:
- experience of enterprise data platforms or data warehouse solutions
- experience maintaining data dictionaries and technical documentation
- experience within financial services
Working Pattern: Hybrid – remote with some travel to Southampton
