CT-4325; Business/Product Analyst

Do you have experience of providing Business / Product Analysis expertise on a digitalisation project?

This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a UK Financial Services Organisation, in a project to rationalise and digitalise their form products as they transition to a new platform.

The project needs a consultant who:

  • has substantial experience of working on Agile projects/programmes involving business and IT Change within Financial Services
  • has held a role(s) as “Product owner” or “Business Analyst”
  • has vast knowledge of business analysis tools, techniques and best practice approaches, including end-to-end requirements management
  • is experienced in using JIRA.

Experience of working with Salesforce products would be advantageous.
 

Key services:
The key services that you'll be asked to provide are:

  • Conducting analysis to support the development of requirements/user stories
  • Writing the requirements/user stories
  • Documenting acceptance criteria
  • Supporting testing of user stories
  • Supporting queries on the new products
  • Inputs into weekly status reporting.
     

Mandatory Requirements:
Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previously held a role(s) as “Product owner” or “Business Analyst”
  • Substantial project/programme environments involving business & IT change
  • Business analysis experience within any of the following types of organisations/sectors: financial services, government/regulatory body, technology, consultancy
  • Vast knowledge of business analysis tools, techniques and best practice approaches, including end-to-end requirements management
  • Demonstrates pragmatism by selecting and adapting the right approach for each situation
  • Experienced in using JIRA
  • Can quickly develop domain knowledge to credibly engage with stakeholders on the problem statement
  • Delivers quality outputs at pace in both structured and fluid/challenging project environments
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills, building strong engagement with SMEs and establishing good relationships with business sponsors, project stakeholders, and supplier delivery teams
  • Assures the delivery of business requirements to ensure that the solution is fit for purpose
  • Experience of project lifecycles delivered within a range of project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall & Agile
  • Accomplished problem-solver who constructively challenges the status quo, keeps an open mind, and can develop innovative solutions
  • Skilled at leveraging excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

 

Optional Requirements:
It will also be advantageous if you have:

  • experience of working with Salesforce products
  • business acumen in either financial services or financial regulation
  • experience of working in a regulatory environment
  • experience in Business Architecture and wider business design functions.
  • experience of Business Change
  • experience of Testing


Working Pattern: Hybrid, two days per week in the client’s London office
Contract Type: Inside IR35
Start: ASAP
